- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups cooked shredded BBQ chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour to make a roux, cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cream, cook until thickened.
- Add shredded cheeses, stir until melted and smooth.
- Stir in BBQ chicken, season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Combine sauce with cooked pasta, toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot, optionally topped with extra cheese and herbs.

- Use smoked paprika for authentic smoky flavor.
- You can substitute regular shredded chicken if BBQ is unavailable.
