- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce or honey mustard sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
- Mix barbecue sauce, honey, and soy sauce, then pour over the chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each chicken breast.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Top with crispy bacon crumbles and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms or green onions on top.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
