Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette or Italian bread loaf
  • 2 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread into 1.5-inch thick rounds and hollow out the centers to create bowls.
  3. Melt butter with minced garlic and a drizzle of olive oil. Brush the bread bowls with the garlic butter and bake for 10 minutes until lightly crispy.
  4. Mix cooked spaghetti with Parmesan, basil, salt, pepper, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Fill the garlic bread bowls with the spaghetti mixture, top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return to oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
