Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups baby spinach or kale
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and sauté bell peppers and onions until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, add cooked steak back into the skillet, and top with shredded cheese. Cover and cook until cheese melts, about 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, sauté greens in a separate pan with a splash of olive oil until wilted.
Notes
- Feel free to swap peppers or add extra spices for flavor variation.
- Use a non-stick skillet for easier cleanup.
