  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat skillet over medium heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Add olive oil and sear chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook another 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and butter to the skillet. Spoon sauce over chicken and green beans. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add green beans, cook uncovered for another 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
