- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Mix breadcrumbs with a little olive oil and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
