- Salt and pepper to taste
- Whole wheat burger buns
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook until vegetables soften, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Toast burger buns lightly. Spoon the turkey mixture onto the buns.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

- You can substitute ground chicken or lean beef for turkey.
- For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or smoked paprika.
