- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar, set aside until frothy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape the dough into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving with butter or jam.
Notes
- You can add raisins or cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Make sure the milk is warm but not hot to activate yeast properly.
