- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the cooked turkey and simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
- Meanwhile, steam or sauté broccoli until tender.
- Serve the turkey mixture over cooked rice, topped with broccoli, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
