Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (parsley, thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
  2. Place meatballs in a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes until browned.
  3. Meanwhile, in a skillet, combine beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Add meatballs and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, garlic, and herbs.
  5. Serve meatballs with gravy alongside creamy mashed potatoes. Garnish with additional herbs.
