- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the beef pieces with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, then sear beef until browned on all sides.
- Transfer beef to slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, then pour over beef in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Best served with steamed vegetables or over mashed potatoes.
- You can replace herbs with thyme or rosemary for variation.
