- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 4 slices ham
- 1 cup grated Gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the pastry.
- Layer ham slices evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle grated cheese over ham.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- While baking, soft-boil eggs for 6-7 minutes, then peel and set aside.
- Remove pastry from oven and top each section with a soft-boiled egg.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can prepare the pastry and toppings ahead, just add eggs before serving.
- Replace ham with roasted vegetables for a vegetarian version.
