Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add sliced pepperoncini peppers and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine and simmer until sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for more flavor.
- For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of pepperoncini peppers.
- Serve with rice or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
