- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese gradually, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper. Toss in the cooked fettuccine to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh Parmesan for the best flavor.
- For a richer sauce, add a splash of white wine during sautéing.
