- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup milk
- For glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 1-2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Gradually mix in dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until dough forms.

- Roll tightly into a log, cut into 1-inch slices, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before glazing.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm cookies and serve.
Notes
- Can substitute almond milk for regular milk.
- Ensure butter is softened for easier mixing.
- For extra cinnamon flavor, sprinkle cinnamon sugar before rolling.
