- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste

- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
- Bake meatballs on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, carrots, and celery until tender.
- Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, and cooked meatballs. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
