A delicious snack of crispy baked tater tot cups filled with cheese and bacon, topped with fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 24 frozen tater tots
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. Arrange tater tots in a circular pattern in each muffin cup, pressing down slightly.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese and bacon on each cup, then bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or chili flakes.
  • Can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
